Location

of our hotel

Our family-run hotel is just a few kilometers away from the city of Würzburg and is located 2 km from the geographical center of Europe. It surprises with its quiet, idyllic location directly on the Main River, with its wonderful chestnut garden and with its art. My father, Max Weckesser, was an architect, contractor, and art collector, and he built the hotel with a great attention to detail. His collection of art, gathered over decades from local and international artists, awaits you throughout the entire hotel.

At Hotel am Main, we show you what sustainable breakfast truly means. For a good start to the day, we cordially invite you to taste our breakfast – in organic quality, complemented with regional delights from local suppliers. This way, we support short transport routes and contribute to local added value. Additionally, we provide daily freshly baked cake, herb quark with herbs from our own cultivation as well as homemade jam – and of course a friendly 'Good morning.'
